This DashCam Looks Out For You

Cars Need Eyes

Cars are such amazing vehicles that it’s hard to believe there was a time when they didn’t exist. But being safe in a car while driving means also relying on others who are also in cars or able to approach yours. That’s why protective video recording measures are needed, and as a result you have dash cameras. But while finding the best amidst tons of choices can be difficult, you should look towards Vueroid’s S1 4K Infinite 2 CH DashCam as your choice when driving.

Two Is Better Than One

There are plenty of dashcams, so you had better not just match the highest quality but add a lot of value to someone willing to entrust it with the safety of themselves and their family. The Vueroid S1 4K Infinite 2CH DashCam does that easy because it starts by having two, not one, cameras performing video recording views — a front view through the windshield showing what’s in front and a rear view showing what is behind.

The hybrid lenses used are designed and tuned with special image signal processing in conjunction with the top-of-the-line Sony image sensor to complement an ultra 4K resolution that brings HDR image clarity to the front using a 51° wide-field of view (HDR is a photo tech that increases contrast between white/black for more detailed and intense imaging). The video technology provides a high resolution view through the windshield. This is furthered by a night vision view that is of a better quality than otherwise seen, again a result of high-end tuning/optimization. Rear view courtesy of the rear camera also benefits from the algorithms employed as well as the infrared LEDS and is of 2.5K resolution quality.

Setup

Mounting is simple, with all that is needed for mounting provided and just requiring patience as to installation for both front and rear cameras. It will take a bit of time to get it all positioned correctly, but once done it’s done.

Setup is easily accomplished using onscreen controls as well as the free iOS/Android app which provides needed connectivity for getting all ready to go, as well as providing the means for being able to transfer video files between the cam and itself — thanks to having the ability to create a WiFi peer-to-peer connection (using the fastest available 5G signal). Bluetooth too, if you wondered.

Technologies

With a plethora of sensors, this DashCam provides a wealth of operations For example geofenching which enables the DashCam to keep a tab on where it is relative to the owner/family. For example, other cams require turning off their parking mode when returned home. Unlike those others, the S1 “knows” its home and turns off the parking mode itself. And could do so if ”asked” when parking at the office, in-laws, etc. Among the many other features is the ability to enhance the view of license plates. This is furthered by A.I. driven technology after the fact. And for privacy mavens, an auto feature blurs license plates and faces. These A.I. features are handled in the Cloud by being uploaded so there’s no added strain on the cameras performance.

No Battery Means No Problems

One of the real issues is when a DashCam is left parked in a car and the heat increases horribly — that fries most DashCam batteries but not the S1. That’s because the S1 is programmed to go into a (power saving) shut-down mode that protects the cam, but is able to immediately come back to “life” to record should the car be impacted. And as there’s no battery built in, shutdowns don’t corrupt files thanks to the use of a proprietary file system (of course in regular operations buffering tech provides more time recordings when they’re needed). Also keep in mind that for the parking mode a hard-wired connection to ongoing power from the car is required.

With the exception of the microSD card (working up to 512GB), everything needed for the DashCam is provided: the hardwire kit (needed for parking mode), a circular polarizing filter to remove glare, mantle clip, manual, charging cable, power port plug (once called the cigarette lighter) and an installation tool.

The Vueroid S1 4K Infinite 2 CH Dashcam comes in 1, 2 and 3 configurations (the 3rd being an interior camera) and doesn’t leave anything to chance when it comes to providing safety video monitoring while driving.
